Mallard Charters offers Full day and Half day Charters fishing for Rockfish/Chesapeake Bay Striped Bass, Perch, Bluefish, Spot, Croaker, Spanish Mackerel and Catfish by trolling, live-lining, bottom fishing and chumming. We are usually fishing within a 30 minute run from Kentmorr Marina, located on Kent Island, to the best fishing grounds in the Chesapeake Bay.

910 Kentmorr Rd., Stevensville, MD 21666. (in slip #10) on the North (restaurant) side of Kentmorr Marina.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

It’s always good practice to check what the weather conditions will be, prior to your arrival. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate to the days weather, sunblock, a camera, soft soled shoes, sunglasses and a cooler, to transport your catch back home with you. We also highly encourage you to bring food and water.

WHILE ON BOARD

Multiple breakfast and lunch packages are available for an additional cost and must be arranged at time of booking. Peanuts, crackers, granola bars and water are always available onboard. Alcohol is allowed for those 21 yrs and older. No drugs and no party’s over 6 persons. No exceptions.

PRIOR TO DEPARTURE

Please don’t forget to tip the Mate. He works extremely hard during your charter, to ensure you have the best experience possible. The normal tipping rate for the 1st Mate is 20% of the total charter cost. After your trip is over, stay and play! Enjoy dinner and drinks at the many nearby waterfront restaurants and bars. There is also plenty of gorgeous lodging available nearby!
